Why can't I see library links on Google Scholar?

When I'm on campus and I search Google Scholar, I see links to the library. When I'm off camps the links aren't there.

Answer

On campus, you can just go to scholar.google.com.

Off campus, you can do one of two things. If you go to the Library's website, then click on Databases, and open Google Scholar from there, you will be prompted to enter your PBA username and password. After that, you will see the PBA links on Google Scholar.

Alternatively, you can set up Google Scholar to recognize PBA as your library by completing the following steps:

  1. Go to scholar.google.com
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner
  3. Click on Settings
  4. Click on Library links
  5. Search for Palm Beach Atlantic University
  6. Put a checkmark in the boxes next to Palm Beach Atlantic University
  7. Click save

You will only need to do this the first time you use Google Scholar off campus.
